Are you interested in interning abroad, expanding your global perspective, and gaining hands-on experience in environmental education? The Asia-Pacific Regional Center (APRC) Cross-Border Internship Program is now accepting applications for the summer session. Youth aged 18 to 30 are welcome to apply!

Program Objectives

1. Promote international exchange and collaboration in environmental education across the Asia-Pacific region
2. Provide young people with opportunities for transnational learning and service, enhancing practical experience and cultural understanding

Eligibility

• Youth aged 18 to 30 from the Asia-Pacific region
• Taiwanese interns will be sent to environmental education centers in Korea or Vietnam
• Interns from other Asia-Pacific countries will intern at one of two nature education sites in Taiwan

Internship Locations and Date (tentative)

▸ In Taiwan (for youth from other Asia-Pacific countries)

• Hakka Traditional Fishing Culture Center (August 1 – September 30, 2025)
• Tzu Chi Foundation Environmental Education Sites (August 31 – September 13, 2025)

▸ Abroad (for Taiwanese interns)

• RCE Tongyeong Sejahtera Forest | South Korea (September 3 – September 16, 2025)
• Soi Resort In Farm | Vietnam (August 15 – September 30, 2025)

Program Funding Support (reimbursement required with receipts)

1. International Airfare: Reimbursement for round-trip economy tickets via the most direct route
2. Accommodation Subsidy: 50% subsidy for 14 days (13 nights) of accommodation
   • For overseas stays: calculated based on Taiwan’s official per diem for international travel
   • For Taiwan stays: calculated based on domestic travel reimbursement guidelines
3. Insurance: Basic travel accident insurance for the internship duration

Note: Travel costs that are not part of the most direct route (e.g., stopovers or intercity transport) will not be reimbursed.
